Compare interpretations

A shared knowledge web can hold more than one reading of a scene. Give each interpretation enough context that another person can understand how you reached it.
Make the difference specific
One reader might focus on the unfamiliar rules of a conversation; another might focus on the character’s uncertainty. Ask what each explanation notices, which details support it, and where it leaves something unexplained.
Changing your view is useful work. Keep a question open when the evidence does not yet support a conclusion.
Try it
Write two short interpretations of the same observation. Connect both to the shared question. See whether a recurring theme helps explain the difference, then make your uncertainty visible in the working explanation.
