Write a working explanation

Published

A short explanation gives your reader a claim, its support and a sense of its limits. It should be possible to follow the reasoning without having attended the discussion.

Try this structure

  1. State the idea in one sentence.
  2. Describe a relevant observation and link its source.
  3. Explain how the observation supports your reading.
  4. Include another interpretation or a question that remains.

Write it as a private draft while you work. Publish when you are ready for people with access to read it. A public web shares current publications, not private drafting history.

Bring together a source note, a theme and a different perspective. Then place the explanation in a learning trail for a new reader.

This is the current publication. Drafts, previous revisions and member details are not public.
